BIO~

Currently based out of Prince George’s County, Maryland, artist Black Ranger first emerged in 2012 as a member of the rap collective “Freshman on Varsity”. Through melodic flows and stacked harmonies, he gracefully moves between rap and R&B, making it difficult to place him solely in one genre. Influenced by Travis Scott, Bryson Tiller, Kanye West, & Russ, Black Ranger sees his music as a vivid collection of imagery and emotion, experienced through the art of sound.

After gaining traction with his collective, Black Ranger (formally known as Chad ADaps) released his debut solo album “Dearly Beloved” in 2015 with all tracks produced & engineered by him. Following this album, he took time to develop his craft, resulting in the release of his six-track EP entitled “LUUV SELF” in 2018, under the name Black Ranger.

All throughout 2019 Black Ranger has released a track (or more) a month, including creations such as “Pairadice” & “3 missed calls” reminding us why he is a TOP artist to watch in 2020. Stay tuned to hear more from Black & stream his latest release “Black Balloon” available now.
